We’re not fixing people. We’re redesigning the systems around them.

NdCare and the Neuro Inclusion Project were built from lived experience, clinical insight and one truth:
neurodivergent people don’t struggle because they’re broken... they struggle because the environments around them weren’t built for their nervous systems.

This started with a simple question:

“Why are so many of us barely surviving systems that claim to help us?”

Like most neurodivergent people, we were told the problem was in us:
our behaviour, our emotions, our focus, our sensitivity.

But the more we listened... to clients, to families, to staff, to colleagues in burnout... the clearer it became:

People weren’t failing systems.
Systems were failing people.

Schools punishing regulation needs.
Workplaces confusing masking for professionalism.
Clinics pathologising sensitivity instead of understanding it.
Leaders misreading threat responses as attitude problems.
NHS pathways overwhelmed, fragmented, inconsistent.

We saw individuals in crisis.
We saw organisations stuck.
We saw families exhausted.
We saw staff unsupported.
We saw trauma everywhere... but no trauma-informed design.

So we built something different.

Our Mission

  • Help people feel safe.
  • Help systems become safe.
  • Do both at the same time.

NdCare supports the individual nervous system.
The Neuro Inclusion Project supports the environments those nervous systems have to live, work and learn in.

Two halves of one mission:

  • Reduce overwhelm
  • Increase clarity
  • Build safety
  • End shame-based support
  • Replace coping with belonging

We believe stability shouldn’t depend on luck:
the right teacher, the right manager, the right clinician.

It should be built into the system.

Why We Exist

Because neurodivergent people are tired of adapting to unsafe systems... and so are the people who work inside them.

Individuals feel:

  • burnt out
  • misunderstood
  • dysregulated
  • lost in the NHS maze
  • unsupported at work
  • overwhelmed by daily tasks
  • shamed for their sensitivity
  • blamed for their biology

Organisations feel:

  • confused about what inclusion actually requires
  • stuck in outdated practices
  • flooded by burnout and conflict
  • unsure how to support ND staff or students
  • overwhelmed by rising needs and no clear roadmap

The solution isn’t “try harder”... not for individuals, and not for organisations.

The solution is redesign.

Two Projects. One Ecosystem.

A simple joint explanation:

NdCare

Supports individuals, families and clinicians with:

  • nervous-system-led support
  • therapy (Align)
  • emotional regulation tools
  • ADHD/AuDHD psychoeducation
  • advocacy
  • clinical pathways (360)
  • the NdCare Hub app

The Neuro Inclusion Project

Supports organisations with:

  • inclusion training
  • leadership development
  • audits (Neuro Inclusion Index™)
  • consulting
  • culture redesign
  • policy transformation

Together, they create a cycle of support:
regulated people → safer systems → regulated people → safer systems.

Our Philosophy

We don’t teach people how to survive unsafe environments.
We help environments stop being unsafe.

Five principles:

1. Neuro-affirming

No shame. No deficit language. No pathologising difference.

2. Trauma-aware

Safety isn’t optional... it’s the foundation.

3. Nervous-system led

Support starts with biology, not behaviour.

4. Systemic, not superficial

Real inclusion is structural, strategic and measurable.

5. Lived experience + clinical expertise

We combine the truth people feel with the science systems respect.

Our Promise

We will never ask you to shrink yourself to fit a system.
We will ask the system to grow.
