⚠️ IMPORTANT... READ FIRST
This is an early-stage, equity-only role.
There is no salary at this stage.
Compensation is via equity (shares or options), with vesting.
Scope, time commitment, and review points are explicit.
This role is fractional and programme-focused
The role converts to paid as services and contracts come online
We are intentionally avoiding extractive therapy models.
Role Summary
NdCare Align is a neurodivergent-affirming therapeutic model integrating CBT, DBT, ACT, somatic, and nervous-system-informed approaches. It is designed to support regulation, capacity, and environmental fit, not to pathologise difference.
We are seeking a Lead Therapist / Clinical Programme Lead to safeguard the quality, integrity, and delivery fidelity of the NdCare Align model as it moves from framework to practice.
This is a clinical leadership role, not a high-volume caseload position.
Purpose of the Role
The Lead Therapist exists to:
- Ensure NdCare Align is delivered safely, consistently, and humanely
- Translate theory into real-world therapeutic practice
- Support therapists and coaches without creating pressure or burnout
- Create feedback loops between practice, research, and product
If this role is done well, therapy feels grounded, coherent, and safe.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Fidelity & Clinical Integrity
- Safeguard the core principles and boundaries of the NdCare Align model
- Ensure integration of CBT, DBT, ACT, somatic, and regulation-based approaches remains coherent
- Prevent drift into deficit-based or coercive practice
2. Therapist Support & Supervision
- Provide clinical supervision and reflective practice spaces
- Support therapists and coaches delivering NdCare Align
- Promote sustainable, regulation-aware ways of working
3. Training & Onboarding
- Support the development of therapist training materials
- Contribute to onboarding frameworks for new clinicians
- Ensure clarity of role boundaries and scope of practice
4. Practice → System Feedback
Feed insights from therapeutic work into:
- product design
- research and evaluation
- pathway and service design
Highlight emerging risks, gaps, or unintended consequences
5. Collaboration with Clinical Director
- Work closely with the Clinical Director on safety and governance
- Escalate concerns appropriately
- Support audit, review, and learning processes
What This Role Is Not
- It is not a throughput-driven delivery role
- It is not responsible for business development
- It is not expected to “fix” systemic underfunding
- It is not about enforcing rigid protocol
This role prioritises quality over volume.
Equity, Time & Structure
- Compensation: Equity only (shares or options)
- Equity range: ~0.75–1.5%
- Vesting: 3–4 years (structure to be agreed)
- Time commitment: ~1 day per week initially
- Review point: 6 months
- Salary transition: On service revenue or funding
Who This Role Is For
This role may suit someone who:
- Is a qualified therapist, counsellor, or clinical practitioner
- Has experience working with ADHD, AuDHD, trauma, or emotional dysregulation
- Is comfortable with integrative, non-manualised models
- Values reflective practice and ethical boundaries
- Wants to help shape a model — not just deliver one
Formal modality allegiance matters less than clinical judgement and values.
What We Explicitly Welcome
- Neurodivergent therapists and coaches
- Flexible approaches to communication and working
- Honest conversations about capacity and safety
- Curiosity, reflection, and thoughtful challenge
We will adapt recruitment and supervision processes to support nervous-system safety.
Why This Role Matters
Many therapy models fail not because they are wrong...
but because they are delivered inconsistently, under pressure, or without reflection.
The Lead Therapist ensures NdCare Align remains:
- coherent
- humane
- safe
- worthy of trust
